Kick Cabin Fever with the “Gamification of Conversation”
While Equipping Coronavirus Frontline Fighters

HOLLAND, Mich., March 25, 2020 – With citizens quarantined around the world for weeks on end, people are suffering "cabin fever" and many are wondering what they can do to help.

Beginning today, The Rank Game offers the "QuarIntentional Relationships" Print & Play Pack for only $1, to anyone who donates with their purchase at least $1 to one of the following philanthropic organizations focused on fighting Coronavirus (COVID-19):

          American Red Cross
          The CDP COVID-19 Response Fund
United Way COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund
          RWCF COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund

The "QuarIntentional Relationships" Print & Play Pack is a downloadable "Print & Play" edition of THE RANK GAME, named in February 2020 as a "Favorite Pick" at Toy Fair New York, the largest toy and game convention in the Western Hemisphere. This new all-together card game created to build relationships gives relief to quarantined citizens around the world who are suffering "cabin fever" and need fun new ways to engage one another while still adhering to governmental guidelines to prevent contraction of Coronavirus.

The "QuarIntentional Relationships" Print & Play Pack includes 32 self-standing topic cards (including six special quarantine-themed topic cards + 26 topic cards from all the expansion packs), 18 score cards, instructions and a gift envelope. It is an easy “Print & Play” format for people to create at home, so it's essentially a game and a craft.

Designed by “Disney couple” Dana and Chip Brown, a Walt Disney Imagineer and a Disney Studios Producer, and parents of three, THE RANK GAME gives families and friends a simple and interactive way to combat cabin fever and engage in positive, fun conversation. And because it can be printed on any standard home printer, anyone can print and play right away.

THE RANK GAME is an ‘all-together’ game because it brings people from all backgrounds together, and also, everyone is playing the game all together at once, so nobody has to wait for someone else to take their turn. The rules are easy, pick a card and start ranking. Whichever Guesser comes closest to the Ranker’s choices, wins! It couldn’t be simpler. This promotes fun competition, because players only win when they look at the topics from other peoples’ perspectives. This basic element defines the community-building power of THE RANK GAME.

THE RANK GAME was fully funded on Kickstarter in less than 48 hours in December, and has been purchased by consumers and retailers in more than 37 states in its first two months of availability. In the last few weeks, thousands have begun playing THE RANK GAME to help them cope with quarantine.

“We made The Rank Game to empower families and friends to have intentional, in-person experiences. It's been fun to see the game take off so quickly in just a couple months," said Dana. "Many of the people who bought the game on Kickstarter and TheRankGame.com have been telling us how much they've used the game while shut in from the Coronavirus quarantine, and they’ve encouraged us to get it out to more people.”

“We wanted to find a way to leverage people’s interest in playing the game to help Coronavirus patients and people fighting the virus on the frontlines,” added Chip. “So we quickly interconnected some existing effective technologies and excellent philanthropic organizations to make it easy for anyone to help at a time when the world desperately needs it. Right now, people can have fun playing a game that strengthens their relationships while at the same time help get Coronavirus tests, masks and gloves to doctors and relief workers serving patients on the frontlines of this horrible pandemic. How could anybody not want to help?”

Anybody anywhere in the world connected to the internet can get the "QuarIntentional Relationships” Print & Play Pack for only $1, with a donation of at least $1 to fight Coronavirus, right now, by visiting TheRankGame.com and doing the following:
